What an amazing week! The teams from all of the different universities gave a short presentation on the last day to share what they've learned and showcase the module that they built using that learning. I was so inspired by what they were able to accomplish in such a short amount of time. And so very proud to watch them accept their certificates in the ending ceremony from the Ministry of Education.
Even though the week is over, we will continue to stay connected and learn from each other. We are also working on a proposal to work with our new colleagues to create additional professional development opportunities for faculty and instructional designers. Stay tuned!
Now that the work part is done, I will try to post more often! I wasn't able to go to Petra today, still getting over this awful cold that we all managed to pick up. But, my friend Cindy and I will be able to join our fellow teammates at the Dead Sea tomorrow :) Can't wait!
After that, I'll be taking a short flight to Egypt for the next leg of the tour.

It's been non-stop action since touchdown. Here's a re-cap: Thurs, 11/29Didn't get any sleep the night of my flight, but managed to make it to the airport with everything I needed. The journey started with a 7:45pm flight from Newark to Frankfort, Germany. Fri, 11/30I am *not* a fan of flying but if all future flights are like this one was then I might change my opinion! We had zero turbulence, had a delicious meal of spinach & mushroom manicotti, and watched 3 films during the 7 hour flight. What did I watch?
Sat, 12/1We totally missed breakfast, but we were able to meet up with Rebecca in the afternoon. We had a delicious lunch while doing a run through of the week to identify any problem areas we needed to address with the group. Before they arrived, we had just enough time to book an appointment to get pampered in the spa with a scrub, massage, and facial. So good! Finally, the rest of our team (minus Diana) arrived and we had a great time catching up and talking about the week at dinner in the Buddha lounge. Some of us took a dip in the Red Sea pool followed by a soak in the jacuzzi. All of us tried to get to bed early but jet lag kept most of us from getting a good night's sleep. Oh well, there's always tomorrow!. Sun, 12/2We started the day with an amazing buffet before kicking off Day One of the training. We were very excited to finally meet the participants. Lunch was another spectacular buffet and after working hard during a full day of sessions we an amazing spread at the Mezzi restaurant in the hotel. After dinner we had to go for another dip in the pools!
