About
The Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research and UNHCR are conducting an Instructional Design for E-Learning training that will take place over 5 days at Le Royal HotelAmman from 1 - 5 December, 2019. The training will gather professors and directors of e-Learning centers from different Jordanian universities, representatives from the Ministries of Education and Higher Education, in addition to experts in e-learning, curriculum design, and educational technology from different international institutions.
The objective of the training is to train local professors on how to design blended learning courses in order to be widely and sustainably offered across Jordanian universities, responding to one of the main recommendations of the Connected Learning Roundtable that was conducted last year. The goal is to increase the capacity of Jordanian universities’ faculties so as to strengthen the entire system of Jordanian higher education for all students, refugee and Jordanian alike.
The training will explain and present different tools and approaches for designing, delivering, and assessing different e-Learning courses at tertiary level, as well as to describe when and how to use these tools to guarantee best practices and results, and to maximize the learners’ engagement and involvement in the learning process.
